It is Facebook’s right not to show certain ads to the public. However, there is one major disadvantage when an ad is disapprov. Facebook does not (yet) show how to solve the problem surrounding a disapprov ad. So in addition to losing time schuling a ‘wrong’ ad, you also lose a fair amount of time figuring out the core of the problem.
After some research it turns out that there are all kinds of reasons why an advertisement can be reject.
1. The advertisement mentions personal qualities
One of the most important guidelines that is reflect in Facebook’s policy is that you may not mention personal industry email list characteristics in an advertisement. This includes statements, directly or indirectly, that relate to someone’s race, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, mical condition, financial status and so on.
When placing an advertisement, it is all about describing or showing the service or product. It is not allow to refer to a specific person or target group or to use the word ‘other’ to refer to a personal characteristic. Suggesting the aforemention personal characteristics is also not allow according to Facebook’s policy.
However, this sounds simpler than it is. It is all about expressing the personal characteristics. It is very important to check your advertisement linguistically, to prevent disapproval.
