How to Write a Great Headline? Learn from Women’s Portals!

You can write a great text, but without an effective headline, the Internet user will not read it. Only with a good title will you convince the reader that the content is worth looking into. So how do you write a great headline?

Did you know that only 2 out of 10 people will read your text? As many as 8 of them will glance only at the headline and nothing more? It’s a bit like if you were giving a presentation to 10 clients and after the first sentence you said, 8 of them left the room. You would probably feel sorry because you spent time preparing for the presentation. And there are only 2 listeners!

Do you think this doesn’t apply to you because you don’t have a blog? (And it’s worth it, it’s worth it. See why running a company blog is a good direction to go.) But what if you write about your product and your headline is not impressive (or, worse, there is no headline at all?). The reader will never know how your product will help them and you will lose a customer.

Whether you’re writing a blog, a pitch, or even a simple social media post, the headline is half the battle. That’s why it has to be damn good to show that there’s something worth reading here.

How to do it? There are several ways to do it, which you can see on women’s portals. In this article, I used examples from Wysokie Obcasy, Twój Styl and the Pani Swojego Czasu blog. You can dig even deeper.

The headline is a promise

It will only be effective if you keep this artificial intelligence in the profession with what you write below.

If you come across an article titled:

How French women take care of their beauty? 12 rules worth introducing to your beauty routine

You’re hoping to get a bunch of useful tips on what to do to look better. If you don’t find it in the article, you’ll be disappointed, right?

Before you write anything

Ask yourself 3 questions:

This will help you reach the people you want to write to. If you are writing an article about strollers, target moms who are expecting a child or already have one but are not happy with their stroller.

  • How do you want to help the reader?

Copywriting formulas

Great headlines don’t just twd directory out of thin air. They’re formulas developed over decades by the best copywriters .

If you look at the titles of the articles, which I encourage you to do, you will notice some similarities. The point is not to copy them word for word, but rather to understand the mechanisms on which they are based and create your own headlines.
