How to clean up your text to make it easier to read?

It’s similar with text. If it’s full of meaningless words, it won’t grab the reader or encourage them to take action. How to clean up text?

The content of an offer, a product description or a blog post must be attractive. If they are full of empty phrases, they will become unclear and difficult to understand.

Check if:

  • Are more difficult words understandable to those to whom you are addressing your content?
  • the sentences sound confident but not bragging?
  • do you write like you talk?

And if you find any a unique environment where various ideas are discussed freely’  words – throw them in the bin or recycle them.

How to Clean Up Your Text – Watch Out for Tic Words

Word-ticks, as Joanna Wrycza-Bekier calls them in Magia Słów , are a group of building strong network relationships that have become a habit for you, like unconsciously fixing your fringe. They don’t bother you, but they can irritate others. These are words:

generally, just, as if, almost, typically, practically, exactly.

They all blur the meaning of the sentence. If you remove them, the text will retain what is most important. See.
