Construction company in DE – how to present your portfolio?

What should your website aimed at German customers contain? Of course, contact information, a description of who you are and what you do. Operating in the broadly understood construction and finishing industry, do not forget to include a portfolio (or Our products/Our projects) on your website, i.e. present the effect of your work.

What aspects should you consider when creating a portfolio if you run a construction or finishing company in DE?

1. Building a portfolio – don’t add all your work

It’s great that you document most of the projects or assignments you handle in photographs, but don’t treat your portfolio as a bag into definition articles tend to have very high search you throw everything without any sort of organization or order.

The portfolio is supposed to present your capabilities and convince the recipient that you are the specialist that the person is looking for. There is no point in uploading 200 photos!

So, conduct a solid selection and focus only on the best products or implementations. If you operate in many segments, divide the implementations into clear categories.

PS. Potential clients love seeing before and after photos (makeovers).

2. Photos of previous projects – the quality of the images matters

When adding photos, choose only email cadence flow: 10 most frequently asked questions  quality ones. It is good if they are large enough, with the option to enlarge without losing quality – this will allow the customer to see the details.

It may happen that you are proud of a given project, but due to the quality of the photo it will not be considered as encouraging by the recipient.

3. Avoid monotony

If two projects are very similar, choose only one of them to post. Try to choose primarily diverse works that show your capabilities.

4. Ask existing customers for feedback

Honest, positive opinions from previous clean email  are a powerful currency. Collect them, display them on your website. Even satisfied customers do not always remember to leave a review, so do not hesitate to ask for one after the service is completed. You can post it with the customer’s name and, for example, a photo of the work.

5. Remember to update your portfolio

Make sure that your portfolio, a sample of your capabilities, is up to date. Add new projects, remove those that are, for example, outdated or out of fashion.
