In the next installment of the interview series, we meet Justyna, known on Instagram as @jukorozki . Today, it is a typical embroidery profile, followed by several thousand people. Justyna talks about how it happened that she started working on IG, but also about how she decided on the shape and theme of her profile.

What do you do in your business? Interview with

I do hand embroidery. I create loan database  pictures on hoops and pins for clothes. Embroideries framed in hoops are used to decorate interiors, and pins give a unique character to clothing or accessories. I most often embroider in a realistic style, my main motif is animals.

At some point, I focused on just one field – embroidery, because that was what engaged me the most and gave me the most satisfaction. When I was creating embroidery, I had the feeling that everything depended on me and my skills, there were no coincidences. Additionally, it was a very relaxing activity for me. Time spent in the embroidery hoop became a form of rest. Later, I noticed that focusing on one field is beneficial, because I devote myself to it one hundred percent and do not direct my energy and attention to anything else. My Instagram profile changed into a typical embroidery one and it remains that way to this day.

How did you manage to get through the beginning, before everything got going?

First of all, I didn’t get discouraged, I kept showing my embroidery, which was getting better and better. I wasn’t really best practices for building sms marketing campaigns  focused on selling, at first I just wanted to share my work with others and show what I was doing. Over time, I developed my own style, learned how Instagram works and what to write about. From that moment on, running an Instagram account and showing my small business became a huge pleasure for me.

Who were your first clients and how did they find you?

While running lithuania phone number  Jukorożki, I also work full-time, which is my main source of income. Creating embroidery is a kind of after-work job. But the most orders came between October 2020 and April 2021. So you could say that in my case, after 1.5 years of activity on Instagram, there were more people willing to do it. Today I see that it was the result of many actions – I created better quality works, showed myself, and let my audience get to know me.

What would you tell your past self? What advice would you give yourself? Interview with

I would tell myself to start doing just one kind of craft right away, embroidery. In my opinion, this is the most beneficial, because after a few months of embroidery almost every day, you can see a huge improvement.
