Loosen your grip and find a hidden gem. Working insights from the project

In unfamiliar or unusual circumstances, people can sometimes behave much more effectively. Creative projects like ours help participants look at themselves from a different perspective. For example, editor Marina surprised most of the team by revealing herself to us as a cool project manager: Loosen your grip and she was so active, supervised all processes well, and carefully collected materials.

When a person feels great, he doesn’t wait for a task to be set and conditions to be written down. He will set a task for himself, figure everything out and give it his all.

Marina Vlasova, editor

Typically our workflow looks like this: one department shares ideas and develops them, then they send their work to another department, which then implements it, and so the task goes along the conveyor belt to the “ready” state.

But in creative projects like this, there is no conveyor belt. There is a group of people who want to work and create. Everyone knows what needs to be done and where their help can be useful. And that is one of the best things about it in general – people understand what they need to do and want to do it.

Houston, we have landed.

After all the hours spent on storming, writing texts, translating and designing letters, we took second and third places. Hooray! You may ask: “Why are you so happy? The gold medal is not yours.” And we will answer: “This is the very case when the most important thing is participation.”

We really enjoyed the process and are proud of the letters, ideas and references we used to bring the work to life, as well as the awards we won.

Team impressions

Cool! To participate in such a project with such a cool result is awesome.

Vera Sladkova, Leading CRM Marketer

It was interesting and fun, I would gladly participate again, especially if the time frame is acceptable

Natalia Chaikina, middle-designer

Overall, I had positive impressions, the competition had an interesting topic for me personally, I enjoyed the design and how involved my colleagues were in their work. The only downside was the deadlines: they were quite tight, they did everything at the last minute with all the consequences.

Andrey Vedernikov, middle-designer

It was fun, I think we will introduce such movements within the team.

Karina Kozharinova, Client Success Director

I would be happy to participate in a similar project, but if possible not on a sprint basis: the deadlines were very tight, it was difficult to maneuver between client tasks and stages of work on Martian letters.

Marina Vlasova, editor, project manager

Cool! It was especially cool to see what came out of the assault. Awesome letters! I know we are cool and can do it. But this project has once again proven the strength of our team.

Maria Nikolaeva, manager, editor

It was very interesting to listen c level contact list and watch. The team was inspired, the letters were written, according to my subjective impressions, quite quickly – it was just a flight of fantasy. Such things are cool outside of work, you can come up with anything and jump from it

Anastasia Kelle, CRM Marketer, Intern

Fire. I want more. People really united and worked hard for one common goal – it’s mega-cool.

Sergey Belonozhkin, writer

Such projects help to open up. For some in unexpected roles, and for others, perhaps, in familiar ones. I will say more about opening up in familiar roles – this unlimited freedom of creativity is what makes even familiar positions unusual and makes you feel important. Not only at the company level, but also at the level of the entire email-geeks community.

Anna Senkina, translator

All this activity convinced me of one thing – when people are inspired and eager to do something, they will give their best. When you see how the whole team how lead generation can support your sales team’s success works, you simply cannot help but work, they infect you with their energy.

Georgy Burmistrov, translator (yes, it’s me, the author of the article, hello)

To sum it up, what do we have?

Our imaginary expedition has landed on Mars, and in the real world we are trying to analyze the results of the competition and draw conclusions.

Even in a creative project, a brief is important

We focused on the creative side of uae phone number our work and didn’t even think about sticking to the brief. And that’s why we got a few minuses.

For example, even though our emails were pretty colorful, we didn’t add a CTA to the chocolate email, which could have been a great finishing touch.
