It’s impossible. Well, it’s impossible to replace it with one Polish word. Even Google Translate says that “copywriting” is copywriting. I couldn’t find the answer in the Polish dictionary either, so I’m digging further.
It would be easier for me than copywriting to describe a tablecloth. The one my grandmother Basia crocheted. She crocheted it for hours, sitting on a wooden bench in front of the house. At first it looked inconspicuous, not even very much like a tablecloth. When she finished crocheting, she starched it, spread it out on the carpet and pinned it with pins to take the right shape. And when she presented it on the table – the family opened their mouths with delight. Even dinner tasted better that day.
You’re probably wondering now why I’m writing this? After all, you typed “copywriting what is it” into the search engine and here I come up with this tablecloth. Wait, I’ll show you that these two things have a lot in common.
Copywriting is knitting
It is writing sales texts that earnings inequality declining in russia or indirectly provoke a reaction and encourage action. They have a specific goal for the reader to:

- downloaded a free e-book,
- he was convinced of your brand
- or purchased your product.
A copywriter collects information and designs a text based on it. And then… knits. Word by word, fragment by fragment, adds stitch by stitch, arranges patterns, matches, mixes. So that in the end, the content is created that will evoke emotions in the reader and encourage them to take action.
A workshop built on knowledge
My grandmother did not url structure optimization her studies in crochet. Her mother initiated her into the secrets of this art. She taught her what kind of thread and what size crochet hook to choose to create tablecloths that are nice to spread out on for the holidays.
A good copywriter is trained not only in how to choose words and put them into the right form. They are also familiar with the psychology of sales and know what motivates people to buy. And every time they create a text, they look for information about those for whom they are writing. They dig into their environment in order to best speak to them in their language.
Grandma’s first tablecloths were not works of art. She became a master crocheter through persistent work. The rules of writing can be learned, but it is practice that makes texts that work emerge from the fingers of a copywriter.
Unique style
A well-written sales text must have that “something” that will twd directory the reader out of their shoes. Repeating clichés in a monotonous voice: “We are a professional company, we have an individual approach,” etc., will not achieve much. At most, it will lull the reader to sleep.
Effective copywriting:
- or it will draw attention to: “Hey, you on that couch, listen, I have something for you” and make the reader do what the copywriter planned;
- or very delicately it will spin a spiderweb around the reader, so that he will finally get caught. And like, share or can’t wait for the next texts.
And that’s exactly what you need a distinctive style to pull you out of the clutches of sleepy everyday life. My grandmother’s tablecloths became famous not because they looked the same as those made by her neighbors. They were original, different, simply in grandma’s style.

I can’t help but mention this, even though it has nothing to do with my tablecloth story. My grandmother’s works didn’t need search engine optimization. But internet texts, especially those you want someone to read, can’t do without SEO.
